Long Inverted Bob, long enough to pull back into a low ponytail.  We also added bright blonde highlights.

Denise called to ask if I could work with permed (straightened) African-American hair texture and wanted this inverted bob for a long time and really wanted me to do it.  Given my inexperience with the texture, we agreed to cut her hair dry and not try to shampoo and restyle. Thanks Denise for your understanding :)

This time we discussed cutting Suzie's hair into more of a disconnected inverted bob and touched up the highlights.

This time I remembered to take some BEFORE pics of Ashley's hair since we were also touching up her highlights and her layered hair is growing out nicely into this inverted bob shape.  A flat iron is used with IRON SILK which is fast becoming one of my favorite styling products since it imparts not only control to fine hair but also a bit of shine.

This layered inverted bob is low maintenance if Kate chooses not to straighten the natural wave in her fine textured hair. The soft layers throughout the cut and also framing her face adds versatility and creates more layering so that it looks great worn either wavy or straight.

Highlites and Inverted Bob haircut on naturally fine hair with very slight wave. Just a little touchup with flat iron on top layers for smoothness.  Root Pump Plus mousse, smoothing spray for flat iron and Slept In for added control at longer fringe pieces.
