Nancy said she was inspired by American Idol contestant Adam Lambert's new haircut, so we talked about asymmetrical shapes and used the razor to remove bulk and keep softness in this short, sassy pixie cut which looks fantastic with Nancy's fine features.  A warm golden brown color (with extra additive for resistant gray coverage) and subtle highlites to show movement in the longer asymmetrical fringe. 

This warm golden brown (slight auburn tone) color we use is close to what Lynette's natural color had been.  We use the razor to remove bulk and create movement to her very straight, coarse textured hair.

Sheri's hair is very thick with a slightly course texture.  This is a totally new look for Sheri in both color and haircut.  We've selected an above the shoulder layered shape that can be worn either with the natural curl with big volume or sleek and smooth with the aide of smoothing products and a flat iron. We've gone with more ash toned highlights recently because she wants to transition from an all over color and partial highlights to the less demanding lowlights and highlights and allowing her natural color to blend in for less obvious new growth at the roots. 

This is one of those times I wish we'd taken a BEFORE picture because it was quite the transformation!  Jenny arrived at the salon with curly hair down to the middle of her back, in a ponytail.  She was ready for a change and had seen a photo of Marlene T's hair on this website and asked if her hair would do well in that cut.  We decided to go for it.  It's such an easy to care for style, she got the volume she wanted using a round brush to blow dry the top and scrunched the rest to bring out her natural texture.

Highlites and Inverted Bob haircut on naturally fine hair with very slight wave. Just a little touchup with flat iron on top layers for smoothness.  Root Pump Plus mousse, smoothing spray for flat iron and Slept In for added control at longer fringe pieces.
