FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q- "I've always heard it is best to come to the salon
with dirty hair?"
Short answer.. NO, usually, clean hair is best!
When is it just fine to arrive with dirty hair?
When your service includes the time for a shampoo and style:
HAIRCUTS, PERMANENT OR BODY WAVE, KERATIN TREATMENT
When is important to arrive with clean hair?
*Services performed on dry hair..
such as:
*Dry hair cuts
*Hair color services
*Dry hair cuts
When a client arrives with hair that is TOO dirty for the service,
extra time and a additional fee for a shampoo and blowdry
required to prepare the hair
Time must be scheduled in advance, or
a completely finished style may not be fully completed,
if it runs our appointment overtime.
Sebum/ natural oil, (or product build up , such as waxes or silicones)
can create a different porosity level at different parts of your hair,
so a gentle washing (and conditioning) of hair,
the day or night prior to your appointment
will remove buildup that could hinder
the even adhesion, deposit or lifting of your hair.
