Keratin is bonded to hair with heat, and it DOES NOT permanently alter hair, but the unruly cuticle is laid down and helps to seal out the effects of humidity. A smooth cuticle equals faster drying time, sleeker hair, more shine, far less tangling and longer lasting hair color.
With each & every shampoo, the bonded smooth keratin coating is diminished gradually, and the only way to protect it, is to use the proper shampoo and conditioner.
